McCormick Engineering, LLC officially began on January 1, 2008 with one goal in mind: to provide outstanding customer service to the public sector.  We are passionate about helping our clients provide improved quality of life to the general public through a variety of projects.

Who We Are

Tracy McCormick, PE

Tracy McCormick is managing partner for the firm, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Indiana.

Tracy is responsible for office operations and financial management of the firm.  She has over 17 years of experience in design of civil engineering projects.  Prior to her work in municipal engineering, she worked in design for private development including commercial, industrial and multi-family projects with a focus on hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, site layout and grading/earthwork computations.

In addition to her engineering experience, Tracy was a member of the Town of Brownsburg Plan Commission, where she served as Vice President of the Board and a member of the Technical Advisory Committee. 

David McCormick, PE

CPESC, CPSWQ, D. WRE. 

David McCormick is a partner in the firm, and is a registered Professional Engineer in both Indiana and Michigan.

David is a Water Resources Engineer Diplomate, a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control, and was the first Indiana resident to become a Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality, sponsored by IECA, and endorsed by the EPA.  He was also the certifying engineer for both the 2002 Indiana Civil Engineering Project of the Year recipient (presented by ASCE) and the 2006 Outstanding Floodplain Project of the Year (presented by the Indiana Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management).

David is largely responsible for applying his more than 15 years of experience to production operations at the firm.  Prior to cofounding the firm with Tracy, he was the office manager for a branch office of a large engineering firm in Indiana.
